Being a human that interacts with other humans these days requires a lot of trust for both parties. Keeping my clients safe and confident in their experience with me is very important. So here are our responsibilities towards each other to safely be in close contact during your appointment.
1. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID 19 yourself, or have been in close contact with someone who has: PLEASE call me as soon as you are able to reschedule. I will also do the same for you.
2. There is no waiting area available at this time, so please don't come more than 5 minutes early, and please do not bring company with you. If you are coming for your first appointment, 15 minutes for intake has been built into your appointment. You will receive your paperwork (including a COVID-19 Waiver) on a sanitized clip board with a clean pen. If you are more than 5 minutes early, you will need to please wait in your car until I come open the door for you.
3. Please wear your mask. I will wear my mask. And we will have them on the entire session. Reading this you may think it is going to be very uncomfortable in the prone (face down) position. I have some very handy tricks to make sure that you are breathing well, with plenty of space, and the least amount of pressure on your face. This is a mandatory regulation at this time.
Following these three basic guidelines, the office I have worked in has been very successful in not being a point of transmission of this virus.
